Performance characteristics of high pressure pump tube

1. High strength and pressure resistance

Core performance: Made of high-grade seamless steel pipes (such as 45# steel, 20# steel or alloy steel pipes), after precision processing and heat treatment (such as tempering, surface quenching), it can withstand tens to hundreds of megapascals (MPa) of high pressure (for example, the pressure resistance of high-pressure pump pipes for oil fields can reach more than 70MPa), meeting the stable operation under high-pressure conditions.

Application advantages: Not easy to deform or break during high-pressure fluid transmission, ensuring system safety (such as oil drilling, high-pressure cleaning and other scenarios).

2. Wear resistance and corrosion resistance

Material characteristics: The inner wall is often treated with chrome plating, nitriding, ceramic lining and other processes, the surface hardness can reach more than HRC50, and the wear resistance is 3-5 times higher than that of ordinary steel pipes.

Corrosion-resistant design: Select corrosion-resistant materials (such as stainless steel 304/316L) or coating technology to adapt to corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, and salts (such as fluid transportation in the chemical industry and sewage treatment).

3. High precision and sealing

Processing precision: low roughness of inner and outer walls (Ra≤1.6μm), pipe diameter tolerance controlled within ±0.1mm, ensuring low resistance and stable flow during fluid transportation.

Connection sealing: adopt special interface design (such as buckle type, flange type, threaded type), with high-performance sealing ring to avoid leakage under high pressure (common in hydraulic systems and high-pressure oil pipes).

4. Impact resistance and fatigue resistance

Structural strength: The pipe has good toughness (impact absorption energy ≥27J), can withstand fluid pulse shock and mechanical vibration, and reduce the risk of fatigue fracture caused by alternating loads (suitable for high-frequency reciprocating pump system).

5. High and low temperature resistance

Temperature adaptability: Some special pump pipes can work stably in the range of -40℃ to 200℃ (such as high-temperature alloy or low-temperature steel), meeting the needs of fluid transmission in extreme environments (such as thermal pipelines and refrigeration systems).

Summary

High-pressure pump pipes have become the core components of high-pressure fluid transmission in the industrial field due to their high strength, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and high sealing properties. They are widely used in energy, manufacturing, chemical industry, construction and other scenarios. Different industries have different requirements for the performance of pump pipes (for example, the petroleum industry focuses on pressure resistance and wear resistance, and the chemical industry focuses on corrosion resistance). When selecting, it is necessary to comprehensively consider parameters such as medium characteristics, working pressure, and temperature.
